After yet another botched execution in the case of Clayton Lockett in Oklahoma, lethal injections have come under scrutiny again. Edward Davies considers the case, along with Owen Dyer’s investigation, and concludes that Lockett’s execution is just the latest in a string of problems, which the medical fraternity needs to address.
